15th March 2003 Windsurfing: Brogborough Wind Direction: E Wind Stength: 10 - 15 Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 14 Sea Temperature: 7 Weather: SUNNY ! not cloud in sky Max Speed: Distance Covered: Was great to be incontrol again after last weeks strong winds. Arrived about 11am and rigged 8.5 sail and 283 techno. Wind was a bit marginal at times but when there was enough wind it was really clean once down the bottem end of the lake (off shore wind). Managed some nice gybes today carrying some nice speed into the gybes just need some practice when it comes to the foot switch and sail rotation, stayed dry most of the time though. The slog back up the lake was hard work and the wind swirling through the trees at the top end of the lake made things interesting. Was nice to get some confindence back in some winds that im more at home in and the sun shone all day! |
